Welcome to Lake Huron Retreat Center

On the “sunrise” side of the “mitten” state, Lake Huron Retreat Center is known for its expansive views of Lake Huron. On just about any given day guests will rise early to stroll across the beach and catch a glimpse of the glorious sunrise sparkling across the great waters. While the site just north of Port Huron has been a United Methodist camp since 1946, it was completely remodeled in 1999 and opened in 2000 as a full-service adult retreat center dedicated to Christian hospitality. Its popular meeting rooms, chapel, dining hall and guest rooms are comfortable and modern. It’s a peaceful antidote to today’s busy lifestyle. In 2017 the “At the Water’s Edge” guest cottage opened for clergy and laity to book personal escapes for spiritual rest and relaxation.
