Welcome to Lakeview Family Campground

A Place to Reflect on Life’s Journey with God

Everyone is welcome at Lakeview Family Campground. You’re surrounded by trees in a quiet and secluded campground, on beautiful 249-acre, all-sport Townline Lake in Montcalm County. It’s an easy drive from Grand Rapids, Mt. Pleasant and Big Rapids. With electric and water-hookups for RVs, plenty of room for tenters, plus several cabins, it’s easy to see why campers return year after year for a relaxing escape. Enjoy swimming, fishing, hiking, boating, biking and sports. Established over 60 years ago, this peaceful, alcohol-free campground welcomes families and friends to renew, refocus and reconnect in Christian fellowship surrounded by natural beauty.

Lakeview Campground is a special place for family vacations, church groups, reunions, day camps and weddings.  We have 6 group areas that are perfect for fellowship around a large central campfire bowl. We maintain a boat launch with docks that can be used by campers. The fishing is great and you’ll love our fish-cleaning station. Relax by the beach and build sand castles or go swimming. When you’re not on the water you can enjoy basketball, horseshoes, volleyball or Frisbee golf. We have beautiful wooded trails for hiking or biking as well as a serene prayer garden and Sermons by the Lake on Sunday mornings. We have weekend specials and weekly/monthly discounted rates. There are many local festivals and activities to enjoy during the summer. If you are looking for that peaceful setting of woods and water and enjoy the natural beauty that God has blessed us with, this is the place to be. Open from May 1 through October 15.

  • Lakeview is the perfect place for a family camping trip. The campsites are all nice and shady with water and electricity. There's a playground near the beach in a nice shady spot. The beach is perfect for families. There's enough sand for the kids to play in, but there's a lot of grass that makes it easy to walk on and set up while staying cooler than just sand. They have boats, kayaks, tubes, and life jackets to use for free for campers! We love Lakeview!
