Judson Collins’ greatest program resources are its land, its lake, its woods and its people. Special program areas include the Craft Lodge, Wampler’s Lake waterfront and pier, the Sugar Bowl fire circle, the High Ropes and Low Ropes courses, and the Farm.
The Retreat Lodge is a heated facility that accommodates group of up to 16 individuals. There are four sleeping rooms, each with two bunk beds. There are two bathrooms with showers, and can accommodate a co-educational group. The lodge also has its own meeting room in the middle of the building.
Herrick Lodge, built in 1996, has both heat and air conditioning and accommodates 16 people. There are four sleeping rooms, each with two bunk beds, with a sink in each room. The Dining Hall
The Dining Hall offers two separate rooms, the dining facility and a meeting room, each with its own cozy fireplace providing warmth on crisp Michigan days. In addition, there are restrooms and a lobby area. The lodge has a capacity of 250 persons. Full dining services are provided daily. An additional meeting room is available in the lower level across from the camp store.
Cabins are available in the summer, early fall, and late spring. Each cabin holds 8 or 10 people. The cabins enjoy fresh forest air through screened windows rather than heating and air conditioning systems. Shower and toilet facilities are within a short walking distance.
