Prayer Support

One of the best ways that you can support JCC is through prayer!  Camp has been blessed throughout the years by churches and individuals who have faithfully kept us in their prayers. We prepare a periodic email that contains current Prayer Updates. If you would like to receive this email sign up by e-mail or give us a call (517) 467-7711.

Become a Friend of JCC

We have created a facebook page to help keep our friends connected with each other and the camps needs. A committee has been created to directly move forward important initiatives for the future of Judson Collins Center. Look up the friends page at www.facebook.com/friendsofjudsoncollinscenter/

Send a Kid to Camp

Children are our future, and the skills learned, the development of their faith, and relationships fostered at camp are often life-changing stepping stones on the road to adulthood. Children come to camp from all walks of life, eager to learn, yearning to make new friends, growing in their faith beliefs, ready to take on new challenges and discover gifts they didn’t know they had.  In 2015, $13,000 in scholarships were awarded to JCC campers.

International Staff Support

Christian young adults from Europe and Australia come to be part of camp staffs to enrich our camp programs by sharing their unique perspectives on faith and culture. They bring us to the understanding that our similarities far out weigh our differences. Campers receive much from their relationships, including inspiration, global awareness, commitment to peace, and growth in hospitality. You can make a donation by calling 517-467-7711 or mailing a check to: Judson Collins Center 1000 Hane Hwy. Onsted, MI 49265.

Today at 12:00--A Call to Prayer led by the Crossroads District: In the recent months and days we, as a nation, have experienced disaster and tragedy. Let us come together in a time of prayer for all the victims and their families who have suffered hurt and loss from the recent tragedy in Las Vegas, the hurricanes in Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico. On Wednesday, October 4th at Noon, wherever you are, we ask that you join together with us in prayer. Let us offer up prayers as one voice - prayers of comfort and hope, for safety and peace throughout our nation and the world. Please set aside time Wednesday 12 noon - 12:15 for prayer. We are not meeting in a designated place, but please feel free to gather a group in your church, home, place of business, or wherever you choose.Let us as the Body of Christ cry out before God, Lord heal our land. In Jesus’ name. Amen. Crossroads District Prayer Leader, Rev. Karen Williams I have included a prayer you may choose to pray: A PRAYER FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS Almighty and gracious God, Hear our prayer as we cry out for help. Comfort those who have suffered hurt and loss, strengthen and encourage all who have felt the pain and fear from the devastation around us. Bless, O Lord, your people and fill our hearts with praise and thanksgiving for your continued protection and love that sustains us. Draw us together as one body so that we may go forward to bless one another offering help, hope and peace in Jesus’ name. Amen. Forwarded by: Rev. John HIce, Crossroads District Superintendent, Detroit Conference of the United Methodist Church,
