Support

Camp Changes Lives!

There are many ways to help support Lake Huron Retreat Center. You can volunteer, be a prayer supporter, donate an item from our wish list, sponsor someone’s camp by paying for a campership, or choose a designated support option.

Prayer

One of the best ways that you can support Lake Huron Retreat Center is through prayer! The camp and retreat ministry in Michigan is blessed by churches and individuals that faithfully keep us in their prayers.

Become a Friend

The Friends of Lake Huron Retreat Center is a group open to all who are committed to the improvement and support of its facilities, ministries, and staff. Support could include spring clean up, taking photos, promoting camp at your church, or other ideas. Contact Ann Emerson, lakehuronretreatcenterdirector@umcamping.org to learn more.

Wish List

We’re always on the lookout for various items, new, used, loaned. Please consult Ann Emerson, lakehuronretreatcenterdirector@umcamping.org  to learn more.

Sponsor a Camper

Our camps offer adults a unique opportunity to relax, engage their faith, learn something new and meet new people. God’s Treasure Camps provide adults with special needs an accessible environment with helpers suited to their individual needs. Your donations in this area helps them afford this amazing opportunity. Camp can change a life in ways only God can imagine — and that is powerful! Give online to a scholarship fund or the ministry annual fund to keep camp affordable for everyone!

Tell Others

Share the opportunity of Christian retreats and camping with others. Host a Camp Sunday at your church. Post a link to our site on your church website. Encourage your local church or District to use Michigan Area United Methodist Camping facilities for its off-site events.

This Choir Retreat was a marvelous opportunity to sing to the Lord. We had a wonderful director, wonderful accompanist, wonderful singers and a marvelous acoustical chapel. Thank you Lord❣️

2 year going! Wonderful experience! The praising is exhilarating, your soul and mind are so much more at peace. You get lost in the music and surrounding environment. L.H.R.C. does a nice job putting on this event! Fantastic to be around and sing with people that have a passion for music and praise!

It was so sad to miss this year😭..but I couldn't reschedule my daughter's 10th birthday party..her first overnight party ..shes so grown up...i plan to attend next year again though!!

All this singing, when you could e been looking for my record. LOL
