Happy 21st birthday to staff member Connor Jackson.

Connor first came to Lake Michigan Camp & Retreat as an elementary youth camper and returned ever year until graduation. In addition to being a camper, Connor has been a CIT (Counselor in Training) a Counselor, the youngest ever Dean (know to his campers as “Dean Cotton”) and for the past three summers we have been honored to have him on our staff.

What’s happening at Lake Michigan Camp & Retreat?

How about ALL new extended Platform Tents for 2021? That’s right, say good-bye to the last 17 old green tents and hello to 17 new cream extended tents. The new tents will be on site for Opening Day 2021 (Saturday, May 4, 2021. ) Tents will have 4 beds in them going forward (no bunkbeds.)

To help prep for the new tents, this weekend four members of the Jackson First Family Camp stopped by to help upgrade/build 13 new platforms.

Thanks Jo, Marc, Beth and Joel for prepping for the future!
