Overview

You Belong at Camp.

 Christian, Co-ed, Residential

Lake Michigan Camp & Retreat features an incredible camper experiences for elementary, middle school and high school youth.  Combine one part awesome camp, a dune wilderness, and a half mile of private Lake Michigan shore / beach – all centered around Experiencing God at the Lake!

What makes Lake Michigan Summer Camp’s Special?

Our Small Group Camping model helps bring kids together into community. Camp isn’t just a set of activities, its a chance to get to know new people. While whole age groups come together for large group activities and worship, large amounts of time are shared with close knit family groups.

Unstructured time – time where family / activity groups don’t have to meet a timeline or object. Time that the group can choose for themselves. Time to enjoy each other’s company, God’s creation, and simply “play.”

Our Setting – A giant beach, beautiful lake, dunes and woods filled with adventure, and a camp filled with activities.

Worship –  Camp worship is simply awesome together time praising, singing and growing in Christ.  Sometimes high energy pure fun worship, other times serious and meaningful. Faith is special. You’re not alone. Jesus is as relevant and vital today as ever.

All Ages Each Week – New for 2019, our program includes options for k-12 each week of summer camp.

Nontraditional Options – In addition to traditional age-based summer camps, we offer special experiences like  “Home School Camp” or Family Fishing Weekend for families. Explore all our programs to find the one for you.

Parents Can Camp Onsite– As an option, families can camp in our RV Campground (“north camp”) with your own equipment or reserve a platform tent. Your child (or children) can enjoy his or her own summer camp experience knowing that you are close (makes drop off and pick up a breeze). For those children not ready to spend the night away from their parents, we can escort them to your campsite each evening after firebowl (See “Camp Getaway”)

I was never a youth camper but was definitely a frequent family camper - where did you put in stables!? Such a great addition for your summer groups!
