April 23-25 Free Camping Weekend for Volunteers
Help get the camp ready for the season. Free camping and lunch on Saturday for all who volunteer at least 8 hours. Tasks include cleaning, raking, cutting and stacking wood.
May 1–26 Buy 1, Get 1 Free Reservations
Book by April 30 to take advantage of this special offer.
May 28-31 Memorial Day Weekend
Friday: Train Rides at 7pm. Saturday: John Ball Zoo Live Animal presentations, Glow Stick Parade. Sunday: Movie Night. Train Rides all weekend at 11am, 3pm, 7pm.
June 12-13 Free Fishing Weekend
Enjoy a weekend of free fishing (no State of Michigan license required).
July 2 – July 4 Independence Day Celebrations
Friday: Movie night. Saturday: Scavenger Hunt, Touch a Truck (Fire Department visit), Glow Stick Parade. Townline Lake Boat Parade at 1 pm, Sparklers on the beach at dusk (parents must accompany children). Fireworks visible over the lake. Train Rides all weekend at 11am, 3pm, 7pm.
Aug 12-15 Stanton’s Old Fashioned Days
Local event typically includes craft and food vendors, children’s activities, pageant, BBQ competition, parades, entertainment, 5k race, soapbox derby, car show, tractor show, sporting events. Check for updates: www.stantonofd.com
Sept. 3-6 Labor Day Weekend
Friday: Movie Night. Saturday: John Ball Zoo Live Animal presentations, Glow Stick Parade. Sunday: Free Picnic at beach pavilion at 1pm.

Sept. 17-19 Edmore Potato Festival

Oct. 1 -3 Third Annual Fall Extravaganza
Friday: Halloween Movie Night and treats. Saturday: Face painting, pumpkin painting, cake walk, “Touch a Truck” with Lakeview Fire Department, best dressed costume and campsite contest, trick or treating, hay rides. John Dudley Halloween Magic Show and Workshop. Soups, Stews & Desserts served 1-6pm in Main Pavilion (compliments of Lakeview’s wonderful seasonal campers).
Sept. 18 Howard City Harvest Festival
Local event includes scarecrow-making contest, craft show, singing talent show, inflatables, motorcycle and tractor shows, music, parade, 5k walk/run, fireworks. Check for updates: www.howardcity.org/harvest-festival
