Summer Camp

Michigan Area United Methodist Camping Board of Directors unanimously voted to cancel all 2020 summer youth camping programs. This difficult decision was made with much prayer, consideration for the safety of campers and careful review of available information relating to social distancing guidelines and COVID-19. With prayer and support from you — our camper families and churches — we can weather this storm and use this time to improve programs and facilities to serve you better. We had a great group of volunteers out at the Woods today! We focused on the outdoor chapel, filling in a trench, cleaning some of the cabins, removing some of the invasive Autumn Olive, and working on the nurses cabin. I enjoyed getting to know our volunteers and can not wait for the next one. Thank you all so much! ... See MoreSee Less
