The new year is a wonderful time to celebrate the many blessings of 2018, recognize our hard-working staff and dedicated volunteers, and raise much needed funds for camper scholarships. These scholarships help send young people to summer camps at Michigan Area United Methodist Camping facilities.

In addition to raising funds, the event honors the staff, both seasonal and year-round, as well as our dedicated volunteers, who serve throughout the year. From summer deans, counselors and program staff to repairing a roof, volunteers provide the backbone of our workforce and attitude of service at Wesley Woods. In addition, youth groups and scout troops provide much needed help to move materials, clean-out buildings and haul wood.

As we celebrate the dedication and accomplishment of volunteers, staff and people like you in 2018, we will also look to the future and share the goals and plans for 2019. Throughout the evening you’ll enjoy a silent auction, live music and special gifts.

Please plan to attend this fun celebration at Wesley Woods.  RSVP by Monday, January 7, 2019 (email wesleywoodscampdirector@umcamping.org). Your meal includes appetizers followed by a fine meal of Bruschetta Chicken, Salisbury Steak, salads, soups, and desserts. Suggested donation is $11 per plate.

Follow our Facebook page at Facebook.com/WesleyWoodsMI for more announcements and pictures of some of our auction items.
