Lake Michigan (Pentwater)

  • Work Camper – hiring two to three work campers for the 2023 season (May-October). Join our fun, friendly crew and help maintain sites, tents, cabins, buildings, bathrooms, and grounds. Lake Michigan Camp & Retreat is a United Methodist Campground extending Christian hospitality to all our guests regardless of any religious affiliation. Work campers enjoy the best sunsets on Lake Michigan and a campsite with electric, water, and an on-site dump station (or honeywagon service) minimum 20 hours/week.

  • Maintenance Manager – Full Time, Year-Round, Benefits.
    Join a supportive team working to change lives through camps and retreats for children, youth, adults and families. Responsibilities include facility maintenance for multi-building camp and retreat center; keeping the grounds safe and clean with necessary mowing, tree trimming, and snow removal; keeping the shop, equipment and project sites clean and orderly; other duties as assigned. This year-round, full-time position includes benefits and a competitive salary. Ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of experience working related areas, such as:
    • utility systems: electric, gas, phone, water and sewer
    • construction equipment, materials and applications
    • grounds equipment and vegetation
    • vehicle maintenance

    Qualified candidates are self-motivated and have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license.
