Guests gather as Bishop David Bard and Interim Executive Director, George Ayoub get ready for the Dining Hall dedication at Wesley Woods Camp & Retreat Center.

On March 25th, Michigan Area Bishop David and his wife, Julie, were at Wesley Woods Camp & Retreat  along with Michigan Area Camping Board members, staff and many supporters of the ministry.  The occasion was the dedication of the new dining facility. Rev. George Ayoub, Interim Executive Director of Michigan Area United Methodist Camping, noted:

“God has truly blessed camping ministry through the building of this new building. It has been built! It is all paid for! And we look forward to expanding our opportunities to share the love and Gospel of Christ through its use.”

Many supporters helped make the vision of a large dining facility a reality, so that larger groups can more easily be accommodated. Wesley Woods is a year-round camp and retreat center in Dowling, MI. Learn more here.
