Lake Huron Retreat Center offers all clergy and lay persons the opportunity for personal spiritual renewal through the At the Water’s Edge Cottage. Located in a secluded area on the north end of campus, the cottage features a full kitchen, living room, bathroom and two bedrooms (each with one queen bed). You can all relax or study in the living room around the gas fireplace and recline in comfortable furniture.
Relax by the fire – no television. There is Wi-Fi.
In the summer, a wrap around deck is the perfect spot to enjoy the lake and cook out on the gas grill. Just to the west of the cottage is a spot for summer campfires, including a two-person swing. A nearby labyrinth offers the opportunity for prayer and contemplation.
At the Water’s Edge Cottage is the perfect location for an individual or couple to come for a prayer retreat, study time, sermon preparation or personal reflection. Lake Huron Retreat Center is located at 8794 Lakeshore Road in Burtchville.
