FruitFULL Faith: A Spirit-Filled Life

SUMMER CAMP 2023

Your summer will be FruitFULL when you spend it at camp! The 2023 summer theme is FruitFULL Faith: A Spirit-Filled Life. Life can be complicated and challenging but when you understand and grow into your God-given gifts (the fruits of the spirit), you are assured that you’re on the right track! As you make new friends and enjoy camp adventures, you will learn how to live a spirit-filled life! Plan now to fill your summer with fun at camp.

Every camp includes lots of outdoor fun, games, swimming, waterfront activities, crafts, devotions and age-appropriate Bible study/discussion, singing and praising God, and time to learn and grow by trying new things. Trained staff and volunteers care for you and build a welcoming community where everyone belongs.

Choose a camp based on the grade level you are going into in the fall of 2023. Specialty camps add specific activities; extra fees may apply.

What Families Can Expect

Our camps follow guidelines developed by the American Camp Association, in relation with the Centers for Disease Control, to provide a safe experience for campers and staff. The safety and well-being of your camper is our top priority.

Beyond the fun, independence, and adventure, Michigan Area United Methodist Campers will:

  1. Experience Christian community. That means everyone is fully accepted and learns to include, value, accept others.
  2. Care for creation, honoring and respecting all living things.
  3. Gain tools for growing in faith back home, things like prayer, reading the Bible, worship, Christian community, and serving others.
