Michigan Area United Methodist Camping Mission
The mission of Michigan Area United Methodist Camping is to create transformative camp and retreat experiences that develop disciples of Jesus Christ. Through programming and facilities, we serve a vital faith formation role for youth, adults, local churches, communities, and families. Our three facilities across the State of Michigan offer Christ-centered hospitality and foster an environment where guests grow closer with God.

Christian camping and outdoor ministry has been and continues to be one of the most foundational experiences for faith building and growing disciples of Jesus Christ. Our Michigan camps and retreat centers need significant investments to meet the needs of today’s youth, families and adults and exceed their expectations for fun, safe, outdoor adventures, and comfortable amenities.

Lake Huron Retreat Center
Lake Huron Retreat Center is envisioning a brighter future to expand the services of the Retreat Center and our ability to serve more churches, youth and families through updates to facilities and amenities.

  • New Carpeting for all Guest Rooms

To accomplish this Vision, we have established a fundraising goal of $150,000, which will be matched with capital funds set aside by the Camping Board. Completion of this project will ensure that the Lake Huron Retreat Center provides a level of service and Ministry second to none in the area.

We ask that you consider how you can be a part of this opportunity to join together as supporters of the Lake Huron Retreat Center. Your investment ensures the sustainability of this Ministry to connect guests with God, nature, family and friends.
