Summer Camp Guides On Their Way

While preregistration has been ongoing since last summer and 2018 events were announced online in November, the printed Summer Camp Guide is now available. Past campers should expect to receive them in the 4th week of January depending on your local postal services. United Methodist Churches in Michigan will receive a packet of 5 booklets and other promotional materials by the end of the month.
It’s time to pick your camp and make your plans! Parents tell us their campers eagerly asked at the end of camp, “When can we go back to camp?” Now you can tell them when to pack their bags. Once again, online registration is the preferred method, though paper registration forms are available, too.
CHILDREN, YOUTH & ADULTS CALENDARS 
New to this year’s printed booklet are three separate calendars displaying all the events for Elementary ages, Middle and High School ages and Adult and Families. “We have over 100 summertime events for the whole family,” explained Rev. George Ayoub, Executive Director for Michigan Area United Methodist Camping. “Our repeat campers have their favorites, and that’s great. But we know families today are busier than ever. By visually showing the summer months, families can include Christian camping experiences while planning around their other commitments.”

- First-time Camper Discounts – $50 off full-week camps ($25 for mini camps) for both the first-time camper and the individual who recruits them. See online rebate form for eligible events.
- Camp Sunday Resources, Frequently Asked Questions and Social Media Tips are online under “Resources.”
